The Body Board is the piece that makes the BlitzFoil fold-and-colour technique actually work. It slides underneath a woven hair streak, sitting flat against the scalp, giving colour application a firm, stable surface instead of an unsupported strand floating in mid-air.

Its Role in the Technique

After weaving a section with the Snaketooth comb and letting the streak fall free, the Body Board is inserted tightly underneath the streak against the scalp. Colour is then applied with an applicator, working from the centre of the section toward the scalp. Once coloured, the top foil is folded over and pressed to secure it, and the board is removed and repositioned for the next section. Without that firm surface underneath, getting a clean, even fold in seconds rather than minutes wouldn’t be possible, it’s the physical reason the “foil every 10 seconds” pace works at all.
